COLOP at the Insights-X

Nuremberg, 2022

COLOP participated again in 2022 at the Insights-X - an international trade fair for the paper, office and stationery segment - which was held in Nuremberg from 05 to 07 October 2022. Besides systems and accessories for text plate production, stamps for the arts & crafts sector as well as the e-mark® for the office, COLOP's latest innovation, the mobile lifestyle printer for end users called e-mark® go, was the focus of the presentation at this trade fair. We were particularly pleased that our products were presented as part of the lectures by expert Gabriele Kaiser (TRENDagentur) on the topics of "Megatrends" and "Rethink" in Hall 10.

The e-mark go was shown as a trend-setting product of the future and impressed stamp makers and retailers alike. However, the idea of being able to produce a personalised customer stamp directly in the shop within a few minutes, which has already been established and profitable for years, also appealed. With our flash stamps, the desire for individuality can be fulfilled quickly. COLOP offers the software and the necessary manufacturing and marketing equipment at low acquisition costs to start producing EOS stamps directly in the sales shop.

We also met the spirit of the times by making the majority of our stamp products CO2 neutral since the beginning of the year. The Corona pandemic has led to profound changes in consumer behaviour worldwide. 74 % of Germans spend more time actively doing something for the environment since the pandemic. They are buying more consciously. 41 % pay attention to environmentally friendly products when buying. (Source Green Response Study by Essity)

All in all, the fair was less well attended than in the years before the pandemic, but nevertheless enabled numerous interesting discussions with trade visitors. International representatives in particular came to our stand to get advice on what we have to offer.
